Episode 010: The Bluff and the Bluffer
(Episode 010: The World's Strongest Weirdo! Jango the Hypnotist! and
Episode 011: Revealing the Conspiracy! The Pirate Caretaker, Captain Kuro!)

New characters introduced: Jango, Merry

     Dubbed Title Meaning:
The reason why this episode is called "The Bluff and the Bluffer" is because "Bluff" is referring to the coast Usopp and Luffy were at and the Bluffer refers to Usopp.

     Dialogue Edit:
It's true that dubbed Kurahadol called Yasopp a pirate at the beginning, but he also said that he was a thief.

     Clip Edit:
The close up of Usopp when he tells Kurahadol that he's a son of a pirate is cut out.

Usopp with his fist back after he got told to never come to the mansion again is cut out.

The scene where Kurahadol tells the rest of the people to leave is cut out (the view from below a tree).

The close up of Nami asking where Luffy went and Zoro's response switched with each other.

While we see Jango walking backwards, he gets closer and closer to the camera. To make it look like the anime skipped bits of him walking so he gets right up to the camera, they put black screens that last for about half a second (it's hard to describe, but the anime makes camera sounds each time) a few times, and when 4Kids takes those out, it looks while Jango's walking, they cut out many frames to make it look like he "teleports".. o_O;

     Digital Edit:
Zoro's angry vein is removed. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
Kaya eating her meal was completely taken out, this happens when we first see Jango and Kurahadol meet below the cliff.

     Dialogue Edit:
"Take out", instead of "assassinate" or "kill" tones down the violence a bit.

     Clip Edit:
The shot of the sky before the eyecatcher, the hermit crab falling, and the shot of the cliff was taken out.

     Digital Edit:
Like previously when the top part of the pole Zoro was tied to in episode 2, the top part of the pole Captain Kuro was tied to is gone as well. [Dub|Sub]

Navy and Marine deal again, as well as the guns. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
"Captain Kuro" getting shot by the firing squad is cut out.

The hermit crab falling down is cut out again.

Usopp's scenerio about what was going to happen to the village and Kaya is cut out.

And again the hermit crab is gone.

Usopp's panicked looks while Luffy was falling is cut short.

Usopp's flashbacks of when he and Kaya first met while he was running into the village are cut out.

Added a zoomed out scene at the cliff after Usopp runs into the village, took out seeing Jango's feet walking by (but we see Kurahadol's).

     Dialogue Edit:
While we see the Kuroneko ship on the sea, Kurahadol did not have any dialogue.

     Clip Edit:
The close up shot of Kurahadol grinning was mirrored. [Dub|Sub]

The clip of what happened to Luffy and the hermit crab falling have been cut out, and this is the end of the original episode 10. In the dub, there are still 3.5 minutes left. It continues with Zoro, Nami, and the Usopp Pirate crew. This is from the original episode 11, starting from about 4 minutes into the episode, including the intro. All that before is taken out completely.

The back shot of the Usopp Pirate crew as they spotted Usopp running is cut out.

After Usopp gets into the village, he screams about the pirates that are really arriving tomorrow at dawn. The door that a villager opened to go outside and Usopp's short relieved look is cut out.

The shots of Kurahadol saying how Usopp's efforts will be useless as Usopp was startled by what the villagers were saying are gone.

The view from the window at Kaya's mansion is taken out.

The shot of Luffy's hat after Usopp runs away from the villagers is not shown.

     Tidbit:
Dubbed episode 10 ends here, but it has only been 8.5 minutes into episode 11. It ends right as the crew go down the cliff to see Luffy.
