Episode 011: The War at the Shore
(Episode 011: Revealing the Conspiracy! The Pirate Caretaker, Captain Kuro! and Episode 012: Battle! The Kuroneko Pirate Crew. Battle on the Slope!)

     Clip Edit:
After Luffy wakes up, the outside shot of Kaya's house was different. [Dub|Sub]

The leafy block that Usopp takes out of the hedge did not drop on the ground in the dub.

Usopp originally threw two rocks at Kaya's window in order to get her attention. After he throws the first rock, the close up shot of Kaya reading her book was not shown, as well as the throwing of the second rock.

     Dialogue Edit:
Usopp did not have any dialogue (dubbed Usopp shouted "Hurry up!" as soon as Kaya was said she was relieved) until he stepped onto the window sill.

     Clip Edit:
After Usopp tells Kaya that Kurahadol is actually a pirate, the silence between them is taken out. The camera showed the back of Kaya and the front of Usopp as if the camera was inside Kaya's room.

The second time that happened was taken out again, as well as the scenes afterwards.

The outside shot of Kaya's mansion is gone.

     Dialogue Edit:
Tamanegi didn't get dialogue here because of 4Kids cutting the scene right after Piiman and Ninjin panic.

     Clip Edit:
Zoro hits Luffy, and Luffy trying to balance but falls down again was not shown.

Kaya's whole memory about Usopp telling her stories is cut out as well as manys scenes afterwards. [Sub]

     Tidbit:
When Kaya clutches the curtains, dubbed Usopp tells Kaya that maybe she should get into bed.. but the reason Usopp is there is because he needs to take her far away from the village wasn't it!

     Clip Edit:
The crayon drawing of Usopp and Kaya on a giant goldfish was not shown. [Sub]

Merry opening the doors to Kaya's room didn't happen in the dub.

     Digital Edit:
Merry's gun got editted. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
The close up of Usopp's feet as he steps backwards from the window sill is cut out.

The close up of Kaya as Usopp landed, as well as Usopp's landing is cut out.

The close up of Kaya again, as she refuses to go to Usopp was also cut out.

4Kids added a later scene to make it look more like Kaya slapped Usopp, instead of the clip of the falling leaves.

Usopp stepping back after taking a hit from Kaya and the silence from the shock are cut out.

     Digital Edit:
A closer look at Meri's new toy gun. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
Usopp starting to run away, Merry shooting, and Usopp getting shot. These were completely taken out.

Usopp's bloody arm as he was struggling to get up is not shown.

Usopp asking himself why no one will believe him after Merry directed the villagers didn't happen in the dub. [Sub]

As well as Merry running to Kaya and Kaya watching Usopp get chased by the villagers, this is cut out.

Kuro putting his hand in his pocket while talking to the Kuroneko Pirates is cut out.

     Digital Edit:
While the Kuroneko Pirates were cheering for Kuro, there was one pirate who was blowing fire from his mouth, and this time he got no fire. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
Usopp's memories of Kaya and him when they first met, while walking away from the village is all gone.

     Dialogue Edit:
They skipped Tamanegi's dialogue a second time.

     Clip Edit:
Usopp remembering the recent events about the villagers not believe him and Kuro letting Usopp go on purpose were taken out.

The close up of Luffy, Nami and Zoro, as they know that Usopp was lying about him lying, is cut out.

     Dialogue Edit:
After the Usopp Pirate crew laugh with Usopp, each of them originally had something to say to Usopp. This time around Onion was the only one to have dialogue.

     Clip Edit:
Nami disinfecting Usopp's wound as well as a close up of Luffy and Zoro are cut out.

Clip of only the sea and the moon was removed.

As well as a zoomed out shot of the crew.

Another close up of Luffy was removed.

The clip right after Usopp's legs start to shake is cut out. This was the scene where Usopp says he was going to fight the pirates and protect the village, then he yells at everyone saying that it's Captain Kuro's band of pirates and that he really is scared.

     Digital Edit:
Luffy's right eye was originally in the shadows, but 4Kids colored his eye in anyways. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
The part where Usopp gets teary, then finally cry because everyone was willing to fight along side him is taken out.

It is at this point where the original episode 11 ends. The dubbed episode 11 still has another 10 minutes to go.

     Clip Edit:
From the beginning of the original episode 12, the part where Usopp tells the crew that the path they went up is the only way to get into the village is taken out.

Kuro walking away from the village switched places with Usopp seeing what everyone is capable of.

Kaya sleeping in her bed and Kuro walking past the ladder Merry was are gone.

As well as Kuro looking closely at the gift Kaya was going to give him the next day, the wrappings falling on the ground, and Merry stepping down from the ladder, and even Kuro saying that he's done with the act.

The whole scene of Merry getting slashed by Kuro was removed.

     Digital Edit:
The blood on Kuro's claws was cleaned up.

Kuro originally put his claws right up to Kaya's face, in the dub it was just a silhoutte. [Dub|Sub]

Then, Kuro's claws were digitally made shorter so it looked like it wasn't too close to Kaya's face. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
Kuro shifting one of his claws and him keeping a position for a while was removed.

     Digital Edit:
A close screeshot of Kuro's claws and the editted blood. [Dub|Sub]

     Clip Edit:
Kuro smiling as he left the hallways is cut out.

Jango doing a spin and all sorts is cut very short.

     Dialogue Edit:
Jango says Good Morning, dubbed Jango says Good Night.

     Clip Edit:
Usopp imagining a scenerio where the pirates slip and cannot get past is cut out.

Nami's smiling face is cut out as well.

     Audio Edit:
I believe there was an added rooster call (to signify that it is now morning).

     Clip Edit:
The shot of the crew waiting for the pirates are taken out, and some shots of the houses in Syrup Village.

The Kuroneko ship breaking rocks in the water is cut out.

     Dialogue Edit:
When one of the pirates tell Jango that there are two small boats by the shore, Jango originally told them to leave it alone, as small boats like those won't have any treasure onboard. In the dub, Jango told them to go check it out and report back.

     Clip Edit:
The group getting impatient with the pirates is cut out. In the original Usopp said that they'll come for sure, since that way up is the only way to get into the village because everywhere else is cliff.

The thought of the pirates running into the village is taken out.

Everyone's panicked look as Usopp says there was a slope identical to the one they were on at the other side is cut out.

The close shot of Nami as she says her treasures are in danger, and a real mad Zoro are cut out.

Usopp running through the forest is cut out.

Close up of Usopp as he says Luffy was a fast runner is cut out.

The scene where Usopp's goggles shine from the sunlight of the rising sun, and him standing before the pirates as he originally introduced himself is cut out, this is all before Usopp puts a fist out.

The pirates in the "shadows" (I guess) and the sun getting higher is all gone.. Usopp originally realizes that Luffy isn't here even though he was the first one to run north. Then we see Zoro trying to get up the oily slope, Luffy trying to find where north is (he ran out of the village), all of that is gone.

     Dialogue Edit:
Usopp told the Kuroneko pirates that he had 100 million men, dubbed Usopp said only 10 million.

     Clip Edit:
In the original, Jango believe Usopp's lies, but in the dub he already knew Usopp was lying, and so the whole scene with the pirate crew seeing through the lies and Jango completely surprised by Usopp's words were cut out.

     Dialogue Edit:
When one of the pirates found Nami's treasures on the boat, he said that there might be 40-50 million beli inside, in the dub he says there might be 4-5 million berries.

     Clip Edit:
The clip of the Kuroneko pirates as Usopp tells them that it was his treasure is cut out.

The fellow on the left side of Jango didn't get dialogue in the dub.

     Dialogue Edit:
Dubbed Usopp said that the thing Jango has is a medallion, although it is really Jango's ring/weapon.

     Clip Edit:
The clip where Jango hypnotizes himself is taken out.

The back shot of Usopp looking at Nami while she says that Jango is a hypnotist is taken out.

A tired out Zoro when he reached the top of the slope is taken out.

Usopp getting hit by a stone hammer is cut very early.

Usopp grabbing onto the pirate's leg, getting beat up more by the pirate, and Nami doing her best to fight off other pirates are all cut out.

Usopp seeing the Usopp Pirate crew and Kaya in his memories is taken out.

Nami's shocked face and a very far away shot from Usopp (and you can notice two figures arriving) was all removed.

Zoro yelling at Nami for putting Zoro down the oily slope, Luffy yelling at Usopp for not telling him where north was.. was not present in the dub.

Kuro at the mansion is cut very short, also took out a scene that showed Merry on the floor.
