Episode 016: The Cat's Ninth Life

     Clip Edit:
The scene where Luffy was about to use his Gomu Gomu no Kane on Kuro was switched with Usopp's Hisatsu Namari Boshi.

A few seconds showing the back of Luffy's head after the Gomu Gomu no Kane is cut out.

     Digital Edit:
Jango's hand was still editted while he was choking Kaya. [Dub|Sub]

     Name Change:
Usopp's Hisatsu Namari Boshi finally gets a decent name, it is now called Exploding Star Attack.

     Clip Edit:
Usopp tells the Usopp Pirate Crew to keep everything a secret. All three boys disagree with him, starting from right to left. In the dub, only Onion spoke.

     Clip Edit:
The clip of the camera zooming out from Kaya's mansion, Usopp taking off his goggles, and a bit of them talking were cut out.

AfterKaya shook her head and said "no", the tree log with a single leaf is cut out. Back in Syrup Village, the villagers were wondering why Usopp wasn't coming around crying out lies, this was all taken out.

After Usopp told the Usopp Pirates that he decided to travel the seas alone, the three kids stared in awe and saw Usopp's mouth trembling.. this is cut out.

Usopp telling the Usopp Pirate Crew to keep everything a secret, to say "Hi" to the villagers for him, and the three boys sniffling about Usopp's decision is cut out.

     Dialogue Edit:
In Usopp's flashback, his shot to the target didn't have a name.. (Kemuri Boshi)

     Clip Edit:
After Ninjin tells Usopp not to bring up the tender memories, and Tamanegi say that it's not like Usopp at all. In the dub, only Carrot said something to Usopp.

     Dialogue Edit:
When Usopp asks the Usopp Pirate Crew what their dreams were, Ninjin said he wanted to run a tavern, Piiman said he wanted to be a carpenter, and Tamanegi said he wanted to be a writer. In the dub, Carrot said he wanted to run a restaurant called Veggitarian, Pepper said he wanted to be a carpenter, and Onion said he wanted to be a novelist.

     Clip Edit:
The Usopp Pirate Crew were crying immensely (emotional scene ;_;) before Usopp disbanded the pirate crew. The scene with all four of them crying were cut out; the dubbed version immediately went to the ripping of the flag.

     Digital Edit:
The word "Meshi" on the restaurant sign was removed. [Dub|Sub]

The kanji behind Kaya was wiped off. [Dub|Sub]

     Dialogue Edit:
Usopp originally did not have any dialogue before he lied down on his bed.

     Clip Edit:
Skipped a little bit of where Usopp was looking up, his backpack, and Kaya's window.

     Digital Edit:
The "WB" on Nami's shirt is gone, perhaps reference to Warner Bros.? [Dub|Sub]

     Name Change:
Going Merry Go (shortened to Going Merry by fans) is now dubbed Merry Go (S.S. Merry Go).

     Clip Edit:
Usopp's tearful joy and everyone's smiling faces before they set sail were cut out.

The former Usopp Pirate crew members continuing Usopp's legacy and the talk between Kaya and Meri were switched.

In Meri's story about Usopp, the clip of the window of Usopp's house is cut out.

A little bit of the beginning of Usopp's first run through the village seen in the series is cut short.

     Dialogue Edit:
Kaya's dialogue while the Going Merry was leaving is cut out, in the dubbed it was silent.
