Audio Edit: I'm pretty sure that 4Kids added a punching sound effect when Ghin toppled over from MH5, so putting this all together.. I don't suppose Sanji hit him over, did he? In the original I'm sure Gin just fell over! Dialogue Edit: The chefs in the sea were silent in the dub after Krieg spoke. Clip/Dialogue Edit: The first scene of Gin gasping for air and clinging to life is cut out. Clip Edit: The back shot of Luffy after Sanji spoke to Gin is cut out. Dialogue Edit: The Krieg pirates in the water's dialogues were cut to be very short. Clip Edit: The Krieg pirates in the water noticing the bombs that Krieg dropped and Krieg shouting "Your grave!!" is cut out. The clip of the pirates and the chefs in the water after Krieg stops shooting is cut out. Tidbit: The reason for this [Dub] screenshot is.. because these things get heavily changed in the next scenes. Continuation, also notice that this very quick shot hasn't been edited and blood has shown itself in the dub! [Dub] Clip Edit: Luffy getting hit by Krieg's stakes were cut out and everyone immediately assumed that he got hit through the water. Tidbit: The red on faces and such are usually editted, here it is not. [Dub] (wow, looking better, ne?) Luffy's hand has been left unchanged and blood is seen (Thanks to members at the AP Forums for catching this one) [Dub] Tidbit: Like in the past episodes, Luffy said "Gum Gum" twice before doing the attack. Digital Edit: Krieg's almighty pointy stakes have been finally changed to "poisonous suction cups". The first one is mirrored and Luffy didn't straighten up in the dub. [Dub|Sub] [Dub|Sub] [Dub|Sub] Clip Edit: Scenes were removed and switched around. The pirates in the water cut out, Luffy with the stakes in him was mirrored (look at the above) and cut short; you didn't see him stand up straight, the chefs saying how painful it was for Luffy to punch through the kenzan cape (a.k.a. porcupine cape in the dub) (you saw the chefs but they didn't move their hands). The chefs in the water after Luffy takes out the stakes were cut out. The shot of the kenzan cape with blood is also taken out. Dialogue Edit: Sanji did not originally have dialogue when we see close-ups of Luffy takes out the suction cups. Clip Edit: The close up of Sanji while Zeff is speaking is cut out. The back shot of the chefs (after the eyecatcher, not 4Kids commercial) is cut out.. as well as the close ups of Luffy's back, the kenzan cape, the stake on the floor, etc. etc.. Close up of the chefs after the Krieg pirates said that Krieg would be okay is cut out. Close up of Krieg when he got knocked down twice and a pirate gulping is cut out. The pirate with the green hair missed his dialogue. Zeff and Sanji after this scene was removed. The smiling pirate as Krieg readies his spear is cut out. The chefs after Krieg swung once is cut out. The pirate with the green hair missed his dialogue again. The pirate commenting about Krieg's spear is cut out. Some scenes with the spectators shocked right before Krieg looked like he hit Luffy is cut out. Close ups of the kenzan cape and the stake are gone again. Phew, lots of clips cut out in this episode! Dialogue Edit: Zeff originally did not have dialogue when Luffy gets up from getting hit. Clip Edit: The chefs in the water and the zoomed out Zeff and Sanji is cut out. Skipped out Zeff talking after Luffy gets hit another time. Dialogue Edit: There was no mention of Luffy's 'spear' during all of Zeff's dialogues. The Great Battle Spear broke because Luffy punched it five times in a row, something he says himself. This is not mentioned at all in the dub. |
