The Comparison

     Clip Edit:
Occuring before the title, Kureha standing before Drum atop the castle is removed.

     Dialogue Edit:
It's the return of the made up pirate songs.

And feed Chopper some root beer! Yet another beer censorship.

     Clip Edit:
When Sanji grabs a hold of Chopper from Usopp to have fun, Luffy comes in and offers his nose chopsticks to Chopper. That part is taken out.

     Dialogue Edit:
I guess this is worth a mention. Chopper's little happy dance. He dances saying, "Oh, you make me wanna dance! *clap clap* Move~ Groove~". As you all know, he usually says that even compliments wouldn't make him happy (but he has a little bit of trouble hiding it).

Nami originally asked the crew what they thought Chopper was, since they didn't even know he was a doctor. Seven-level transformation, cool reindeer.. emergency food supply. Nami in the dub didn't mind their ignorance. Luffy was upset that Chopper couldn't be eaten, and it seems Sanji was thinking that too.

     Clip Edit:
Here's the clips that are cut out when Nami and Chopper talk about his medical backpack that appeared mysteriously in the sleigh. When Chopper realizes who it was, tears form in his eyes and he thinks of the time when they were going down the large rope, leaving the castle behind. He looks behind him and sees Kureha, tears in both of their eyes. The snow drifting about covers her, and Chopper just keeps going forward.

A cute, but sad close up of Chopper's face is cut out.

Two screens later, Going Merry sailing towards the camera and leaving Drum Island is cut out. Here, Luffy urges Chopper to use the nose-chopsticks already...

After Nami gets up, the part that's cut out is when she suddenly sees Chopper following Luffy's example and shoving the nose-chopsticks up his nose.

Before the crew jumps and cheers for their new crewmate, the waving of the Straw Hat flag is cut out.

Right after that, Hiluluk's flag waving in the air is cut out.

     Digital Edit:
The text to indicate the land in the flashback, Holy Land Mariejois, is erased. (Image)

     Clip Edit:
Before Nefertari Cobra appears, Dalton stops and faces the fountain, questioning the well-being of Drum Kingdom. This is cut out.

     Name Change:
'Lo and behold, it's king Nebra! Unknown are the reasons why his name is changed. Some suggest that the reason is behind 4Kids' other property, GI Joe's Cobra.

     Digital Edit:
A cigar is erased. (Image)

     Clip Edit:
While picking his nose, Wapol closes his eyes and talks. He opens them again, yawns, closes them, etc, and talks about how all of this isn't really his concern, which is cut out. In the dub it only took a "That's ridiculous" to make Cobra angry.

After spotting Vivi, Wapol thinks of something nasty and grins. He approaches her, raises a hand and hits her. These parts are actually replaced with a repetition of his surprised mug before spotting her. Dalton yells at him for his actions, and Vivi is then suddenly seen falling down.

     Digital Edit:
A bit of bruise erasing here. (Image)

Like usual, Luffy's wanted poster is missing "DEAD OR ALIVE" and the "MARINE" on the bottom corner.

     Dialogue Edit:
Robelle Town is not mentioned. It's the town where Ace is first seen.

     Name Change:
And our beloved Ace becomes Trace! Later on it is revealed that his last name is kept the same.

     Clip Edit:
Very odd, but when the man pointed at Ace and shouted that he didn't pay for his food, Trace kept on walking like he did.. in the original, he knew what was coming up, panicked, and started to run fast.

Right after the above, the two men look at Ace, then it shifts back to the third man pointing at Trace, who is already seen running away.

     Digital Edit:

The yellow lines that indicate Luffy's missing presence are erased. (Image)

     Name Change:
Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Propeller becomes Gum Gum Twister.

     Dialogue Edit:
They're playing Gold Fish in the dub, though I'm pretty sure it supposed to be poker.

     Clip Edit:
While talking about Crocodile and his intentions, the second seagull that flew across the screen was cut.

     Name Change:
Miss Doublefinger is Miss New Year's Eve.

     Dialogue Edit:
When going to Mr. 3, Zoro asks if he's the same guy they met in Little Garden. Because the english Straw Hat Pirates never ventured to Little Garden, Vivi explained who he was normally. If you, one who has only watched the dub notices anything, it'd be that they're showing short clips of Little Garden and that Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek are one of the groups that aren't shadowed (shadowed characters are ones who you haven't met at that point of the arc).

     Name Change:
And Miss Goldenweek becomes Miss April Fool's Day.

     Digital Edit:
"Golden" on her shirt is erased. (Image)

     Dialogue Edit:
If you think about it, how does Nami know what Miss Goldenweek looks like ("Isn't she a little young to be such a creep?") if they haven't met her in the English version? Are they peering into Vivi's memories or is she drawing a picture for them? :p

     Name Change:
Miss Merrychristmas becomes Miss Groundhog Day.

     Digital Edit:
Mr. 5's gun is missing. (Image)

     Clip Edit:
A little clip from Little Garden demonstrating Mr. 5's power originally appeared before Miss Valentine comes into the picture. It's gone in the dub.

After mentioning that the agents up to 5 have abilities from the Devil's Fruit, the picture with boxes that scrolls from 1 to 13 is inserted (repeated).

The pairings appearing for the next two are switched -- originally Miss Monday and Igaram appear first before Vivi and Mr 9. It's switched around in the dub.

After those two pairs, Mr. 11 appearing by himself is taken out.

The Unluckies appearing on screen originally had something before that. Sanji recalls the time when he killed (?) the Unluckies back in Little Garden. It was a clip of when both of them appeared in the wax house.

So, by taking that out, they insert a little bit of clips from Whiskey Peak instead, but this happens after their appearance as a pair occurs.

     Dialogue Edit:
The amount (thankfully they were the same) of Billions and Millions were mentioned, but just the mention of the Millions themselves weren't.

     Clip Edit:
After the above, Usopp goes and adds them together, but it doesn't actually happen until later in the dub. A shot of Usopp's blank face and Chopper's serious face are inserted after Vivi finishes explaining, then it's commercial. If those shots aren't from this episode, they're surely from some other one.

Remember the seagulls flying across the screen? Well it's repeated after the commercial, and this time the second seagul isn't cut out.

After the above, Usopp finally starts to count the numbers.

     Digital Edit:
Mr. 2 Bon Kurei's grab on his navigator is altered. (Image)

His second arm to hold him up higher is erased. (Image)

     Clip Edit:
Bon Kurei continues to pound on their navigator. The rest of the men look astonished, as you can see them from between Bon Kurei's legs. This is cut out.

     Digital Edit:
This edit makes it look like the navigator is biting Bon Kurei's hand. (Image)

Kanji erased! (Image)

     Clip Edit:
Crocodile grinning even more after that is cut out. End of episode!
