  Episode 078: Zero Tolerance
(Episode 110: Merciless Fight to the Death! Luffy VS Crocodile)

     Digital Edit:
A sign is erased at the beginning as Luffy catches up to everyone.

     Dialogue Edit:
Smoker tells a soldier to get everyone to quit pursuing the SH. The soldier hesitates, thinking that the superiors will be at disgust about gathering a lot of ships to chase after a few pirates. Smoker reveals to us all that he's somewhat of a rebel, not caring about what the superiors think about anything. This is important to know, come the end of the Arabasta episodes. He simply gets angry towards the soldier, telling him "do as I say, right now!!"

     Digital Edit:

A full shot of them Navy rifles!

     Clip Edit:
The SH run and Usopp exclaims about walking all the way to Alubarna. Right after, a short shot where the camera is in an alley viewing the SH as they run, is cut out.

Then, Nami wonders where Eyelashes is. A similar edit of the above (the alley shot) is here.

The giant crab Chopper and Eyelashes are on makes a complete stop in front of the SH. As the smoke clears, the camera focuses on one of its eyes. A couple of shots are taken afterwards - its eye looking down and one of its claws opening and closing.

     Dialogue Edit:
No mention of Eyelashes' friends being perverts.

     Clip Edit:
Right after, which is also before Zoro comments, an above shot of the whole crew on the crab is cut out.

A shot of Luffy's calm face after Nami and Usopp scream is cut out. They scream because Vivi is suddenly being taken away by Crocodile's hook!

After Luffy goes to Crocodile instead of Vivi, he tells them to go on ahead. A frontal view of the crab, which is before the camera zooms out from its side view, is cut out.

Luffy shouts at them to keep going, but everyone's in shock. Zoro stares at Luffy for a moment before turning to tell Chopper to take them to Alubarna. In the dub, Zoro didn't stare and quietly call Luffy an idiot, so you see him quickly turning his head to Chopper without a second thought.

After vivi shouts to Luffy, Luffy noticing Vivi's shouts to him is cut out. He was still upside down watching them off.

The shot that was cut out in the above, occurs again after you see Vivi, who continues to deliver her message to him. This time the pause before Luffy shouts to promise her is replaced with a back shot of Luffy who watches them slowly disappear.

     Digital Edit:

Really interesting. Crocodile's cigar is erased as usual, but check out the additional editing. Also, do you notice the shadow to his left that isn't colored in? It kind of fixes itself after Crocodile is finished laughing.

     Clip Edit:
Luffy ridicules Crocodile, causing him to bite his cigar until half of it falls (this is taken out). Robin laughs.

Before Crocodile speaks after the middle commercial, a face shot of Crocodile is cut out.

     Dialogue Edit:
Before the fight begins, Crocodile asks if there's any problem with it (or, in the dub, if he had any last requests). Luffy, in the dub, requests that Crocodile leaves the people of Alabasta alone. In the original, he was calm and had no problem going with the fight.

     Name Change:
It looks like the name of Luffy's Axe move is going to follow the one in Grand Battle (or Viz, whichever was first). This time it's the Battle Axe/Ax.

     Dialogue Edit:
This is fairly important. The thing that truly angers Crocodile in the fight is Luffy interrupting him while he's speaking. It happened three times already. He's wanting to know what Crocodile's trying to say, but little does he know, he's been hitting him, preventing Crocodile from finishing his sentences. THAT's what ticks him off so much to use his Suna Suna techniques!

     Name Change:
Crocodile's Desert Spada became Desert Dagger. Very interesting! His Desert Girasole stays the same!

     Clip Edit:
A close-up of Crocodile's sandy arm as he performs Desert Girasole is cut. The pause on Luffy's face before he falls is removed. That means that after Crocodile announces his move in the dub, Luffy falls down right away.

     Name Change:
Crocodile's Barchan became Desert Cutlass.

After Luffy begins to run away from the center, a shot is taken out. It was the center of the sand whirlpool sucking up large rocks. If you're unable to pinpoint it, the cut shot takes place before it looks like Luffy is running towards the camera.

Like Wapol's Baku Baku Fruit becoming the Munch Munch Fruit, Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Baku Baku is the Gum Gum Munch Munch.

Crocodile's Sables doesn't have a name.

     Clip Edit:
When Crocodile tells Luffy that south meant Yuba, a quick flash of Toto appears in Luffy's mind, and this is cut out!

Luffy suddenly collapses and Crocodile's hook can be seen dripping with blood. The part with Crocodile's hook is cut out. And...and...AND!!

     Digital Edit:

     Clip Edit:
Oh, yeah, right after the above, a shot of Luffy's hat and his Arabasta coat laying on the sand is cut out. End of episode!!

Good to see that the clip of the fight made it to YouTube. If you missed it when it was posted here for download, watch it now?
