Episode 68: Kids of the Kingdom
(Episode 100: Rebel Warrior, Kohza! The Dream Sworn to Vivi!)
Dialogue Edit:
Had a bit of extra dialogue from Nami and Luffy at the very beginning after the title. So it seems they
decide to use the "are we there yet?" gag.
Because Luffy asks again shortly later during a silent scene. It's a zoomed out shot of the group walking.
Clip Edit:
Noticed about a second cut after Luffy runs to Sanji for water. Funny I mention this because I don't do it
for any other episode. There's way too many. Some other people specialize in that sort of thing. :p
Some seconds off when the camera's up to the sky but... eh, whatever, I quit doing that. >_<
Digital Edit:
"１１年前・アラバスタ王国" from the screen is wiped off.
Dialogue Edit:
I just noticed that Vivi talks throughout the entire silented scene. Young Kohza should be the only one saying
something, until the King speaks.
Clip Edit:
Toto enters the scene and as soon as he gets close to Kohza, he forces him to bow while he bows himself. There is also the part where we see a front angle of it, and then one where Toto's kinda beating Kohza over the head, and all of these are cut.
Character Name Change:
Toto -> Tutu (トト ⇒ ツツ)
Clip Edit:
When we find out about Toto's name, a shot from behind with them bowing to the King is cut.
After Cobra speaks with them, Toto makes Kohza bow again until Kohza brushes off his arm. These are cut, so the dub instantly shows Kohza with tears in his eyes.
Some more bowing after Kohza leaves is gone. This is after Cobra addresses Toto again. Instead, they inserted a scene before we see Kohza talking to the King at the beginning of the flashback - the Royal Guard.
The actual impact from Cobra's "King Chop" on Igaram is cut, but you still see his hand coming down on him. Igaram barely flinches.
Digital Edit:
So the redness on Igaram's forehead is erased.
Dialogue Edit:
Ohh, a run on sentence. It's when Igaram tells the King that they don't have enough resources to help all of the villages. "Every one of us will sacrifice[,] our people need help!" instead of "Then take it out of our living funds! Whatever we have to do, it'll get DONE!" Personally I like the latter!
Digital Edit:
They find out that Vivi got into a fight and lost, so Toto comes running in willing to kill himself in apology.
The redness on the lumps after Cobra King Chops both Igaram and Toto are cleaned.
Dialogue Edit:
Some more talking from the present Vivi.
Clip Edit:
Before the kids begin to gather, 3 (all) shots of merchants selling stuff are cut.
Before seeing Kohza smiling, Vivi cracking her knuckles is cut. I am VERY surprised the kept Vivi licking her lips, because apparently there were some issues in Yugiou...
Vivi charges and takes Kohza down. Two still shots of cheek grabbing while the kids cheered are gone.
Digital Edit:
Redness from Kohza's lump is gone.

Toto's plowing. A close up of the ground while he plowed was cut.
Dialogue Edit:
Some more talking from Vivi again after Igaram tells Cobra to go back.
And why would Vivi be smiling and say "something scary happened"? In the original she just said "many things happened".
Dialogue Edit:
Now would be a good time to mention this. Vivi calls Kohza "Leader" and it's even spoken in English, but they insist on calling Kohza "Captain" in the dub.

Back to the present, then back to the flashback. A still shot of Vivi is cut near the beginning. It's before you see someone stepping closer.
Digital Edit:
Igaram gets a boy to speak. This time the redness AND the black eye are cleaned. Same with the next boy. Oh, and you do remember that blood (and most scratches) are cleaned from all episodes, right?
Clip Edit:
Some time later when one of the bandits brings out a weapon against Kohza, there was an inverted picture of Vivi while Kohza's words rang through her head. This one's cut.
He begins to attack Kohza. Before Vivi screams, there is a close up of Kohza's eye that reflects the incoming blade, and this is cut.
Dialogue Edit:
Kohza gets a cut but the cut is removed in the dub! He still flinches, but this doesn't explain the scar in the present Kohza!
Digital Edit:

Clip Edit:
The first half of the bandit falling from the blow is cut.
The bandit's blade falls down after a few seconds in the original, but the dub skips to the part right when it falls into the ground.
Cobra going all out with kicking the bandits while they're down is cut. Right after, a few more from the gang gets piled up on top on the same screen, so both of these are cut.
The children get hospitalized. Vivi tells them that she was scared, but not because of the bandits. After seeing Igaram's face, a flashback of Kohza telling the clan to protect Vivi to the death is cut.
Cobra and Igaram are walking in the hallway while the sun sets. Igaram doesn't get to speak or clear his throat at all in this part.
Digital Edit:
Kohza tells Vivi about the town they're going to establish at Yuba. On their mini map, Yuba's name "ユバ" underneath the center part is erased.
Dialogue Edit:
There was originally no talking when you see some villagers packing up, ready to go.
Luffy gets pushed onto the shell from the giant scorpion, but this time he doesn't get dialogue when he had some.
