Episode 73: Chase to Rainbase
(Episode 105: The Arabasta War Front! City of Dreams, Rainbase)
Clip Edit:
Skips the frontal view of Vivi crying right at the beginning.

Gum Gum No Way and Gum Gum Keep-a-Way were used when Luffy was doing Gomu Gomu no Dame da.

A quick flash of Toto when Luffy explains why he won't let Usopp touch it is cut.

Katorea Rebel Army Camp ("カトレア・反乱軍キャンプ") on the screen is erased.

After Kohza tells everyone that he saw himself in that child, some quick flashes of his past are gone.
Cobra passes the letter to Pell. He tells them that it's Vivi's handwriting. Right after, the dub kinda rewinds the part where Cobra passed the letter to Pell, so now it looks like Pell is passing it back to him. That was a quick read, Pell!
So then Pell bent on his knees reading it is cut. He stands up after a little bit, but he's already standing in the dub. Hey, is that a letter you're holding in your hand, Pell? Jeez Pell, don't go asking Cobra what Vivi wrote when you look at it for a second before passing it back. I can see why they did this though, because Cobra is seen with the letter soon later. BUT... even later, you see that both Pell AND Cobra are holding a piece of the letter.
We see Crocodile's face. There was a kind of "bleeding" transition to the next screen. In the dub it just fades into the next.
A huge explosion, back at Whiskey Peak. But after that everything else is gone. An upper view of the explosion and bits from the time when Vivi watched it happen.
At one point, Pell falls on his knees after finding out about Igaram's fate. Then you see a close up of Cobra. Right after, a scene that shows the faces of the crew (with a colorful border) is cut.
Carue swaps Chaka's hand away as soon as he tries to look at his bandages. A flashback involving the time when they wore them is cut.
An image of Crocodile appears behind Cobra after a while. A quick shot of Chaka and Pell in silence is cut.
Digital/Dialogue/Clip Edit:
A ton of dialogue changes but whatever. Before the first time Sanji talks, Usopp bears his sharp teeth and gets angry at Luffy, who in the dub exclaimed that Sanji was not seen by Mr. 2. Usopp goes, "He's right!" with such an angry face, it's strange. But he's really supposed to smack Luffy in the head for yelling to get Crocodile to come out, and this smack is cut. So uh... now it kinda looks like this:

Sanji getting mad at Zoro for his comment after Sanji wanted to be called "Prince" is cut.
Digital Edit:
Some signs are erased when we get a glimpse of Rainbase. You can see images of similar edits in later comparisons. They leave "Sand Cafe" alone, of course...
Digital Edit:
Five things (for sure) to spot! They're constant throughout this whole scene. And Smoker's cigars, of course...
Yeah, then there's this too.
Clip Edit:
Zoro bugging Eyelash[es] with a branch is cut. It was the first thing that shows up when we check up on the other people. It was only this one because the others after that are left alone.
A soon as we go to Luffy and Usopp again, a shot of the fan in the ceiling is cut.
Dialogue Edit:
In the dub, Tashigi offers to pay for Luffy and Usopp's water. The lady tells her to pay for the water in the original. In the dub, she tells her how much the water costed.
No Edit?:
Hurray for unedited navy rifles at this one point... because they're so far away in the distance! Can barely see them! (Oi!)
Digital Edit:
Zoro looks around and sees people looking at the photos that Mr. 2 took of himself, in order for them to know what the crew looked like. The guy facing the camera is missing a rifle on his back.
Vivi points to Rainbase as they run. Those darn signs are wiped clean again.

Technique Name Change:
[Smoker] White Vine -> Smoke Stack (ホワイト・バイン ⇒ スモーク・スタック)
Clip Edit:
Chopper comes back but everyone's missing. After smelling Luffy's scent, the next two shots of him walking around are cut. The first one maybe because it was a "butt" shot, and the second I don't know.
Digital Edit:
Some more of them signs are cleaned while Chopper walks around. Even a faint one in the distance after Chopper gets ran over by the charging Marines. By this point you ought to be able to notice most of them until the end of the episode.
No Edit?:
It's the return of the "faraway non-edited Marine rifles"! It's when they're charging towards Sanji.
Clip Edit:
Sanji grins. They replace a new shot of the Marines charging with the one that already happened in the episode.
Digital Edit:
One of the Marine hats became white instead of getting their Navy logo.
After Sanji's finished with them, him smoking is cut.
No Edit?:
Zoro speaks after fighting. That sign to his right is left alone.
Digital Edit:
Usopp and Nami makes it to Rain Dinners. Even the name "Rain Dinners" is erased (and that one Casino sign). Again, there are some screenshots of these in later comparisons.

Miss Allsunday gets no edit this time! What a lucky girl!
